In an effort to kill some time, I recalled a quick conversion I had with Jason and Laura the other day, . . .ergo I’ve documented the top LJ comments, which can usually be placed on ALMOST any post. After this is my post so you’ll probably be offended but, hey how can you be mad, . . . its me :)
Here they are in no particular order:

I took a "work-from-home" day today . . .and at 11:20 Ive accomplished:
3 emails, one requireing a bit of research . . .
polishing off one report
rewatching 2 episodes of the Sopranos whilst doing so . . .
playing a few selected innings of 2K6 . . .
. . .and thats about it . . .
I should probably feel a bit guilty but I have put in at least 6 12-14 hour days the past few weeks (strange how much you get done when no one else is in the office). . .
The fucked up thing is I still have a big list of stuff that needs done . . .

I dont know what Ill be doing this weekend, except for little to no drinking . . .
My appolgies to any one who received my drunken text messages at 2 am last Friday . . .maybe someday well look back and chuckle

And yes, the token sports freak here couldnt forget the best news of the month: Justin Verlander acomplished one of the hardest single game achievments in sports

well, you have to do something when all of your projects are stalled during a data-wharehouse upgrade that should have been completed 20 hrs ago . . .

Im alive, . . .just been in non stop work mode, . . .putting in a 11 and 13 hour days consecutivly. . . decided to not go to Kings Dominion today w/ Kelly so I can meet with my boss on the project(s) Ive been working on . . .oh well its been fun . . .


So my "vanishing" is nothing personal . . .Ill stick my head into Patriots eventually . . .or somewhere . . .

Still wish I was in Keiv . . .

Even though I'm usually out of the loop on 'pop' music, . . . if you havent heard 'Popular Education' yet, give it a try. . .I hated it at first but now I listen to it all the time. . .

The Good Sheppard is out on DVD, . . .I love that movie!! I definitly missed my non-athletic calling in life . . .

I re-watched Fire Walk With Me last night . . .heheheh I fucking love that movie :)

Is it sick of me to think Sheryl Lee has the sexist scream ever?? From train car scene in FWWM and the series to the final episode, particularly when she comes over the couch and has that hot and deadly look on her face, . . . it gives me chills and an evil smile . . .hehehe damn, what a woman . . .i dont care if she wrapped in plastic, shes still HOT!

"Do you known who this is??" (although hes on screen for all of 30 seconds, Bowie rocks in that movie, gee youd think Id know all of his lines off the top of my head by now)

Disclaimer I feel I must say this, but never watch Fire Walk With Me until youve seen the whole series!!!! If you do, youll be robbing your self beyond youre belief. . .not to mention have absolutly no clue whats going on thus wasting 2 hrs of your time!

Well Friday of consisted of me leaving the office to get coffee, buying Season 2 (technically season 1.5 and Season 2) of Twin Peaks.. . got the afternoon off from the boss. . . went home, and spent the weekend engrossed and watched all 20+ hours of it. . .bliss. . . Ill spare you all the priceless quotes, for now :)

Then I decided that I should leave the apartment for something other than “Youre A Bad Person” class and running, . . . so Sunday afternoon I went (via Metro) to Old Towne and drank volumes of alcohol in epic proportions. . .

I remember the bartender at Murphys saying “The guy from Detroit asked to put the hockey game on” :) . . .it was only Joisey vs Tampa Bay but it beat the Nats getting killed 7-0 in the 4th inning . . .

Then I remember going to O’Connell’s (a very fun yet classy place) . . .then waking up in my bed at 2:30 this morning . . . (yup about 8 hours gone). . .I looked for a tatoo behind my right ear or on my leg, but couldnt find any :(

I have been experiencing black outs on a far more consistent basis over the past months. . .I don’t know if there’s a reason , but I don’t think Im necessarily drinking more volume (maybe just in a shorter time). . .or it maybe that Im paying more attention. . . or Ive drank my tolerance away. . .

Oh well. . .I guess as long as don’t drive or feed someone their spleen Ill be somewhat ok. . .

I think I have finally reached the burnout point. . .all programs and all files look the same and none of them make a bit of sense. . . oh well, guess I should quit bitching and just run through the day on auto-pilot for starters, but I need to go to Starbucks first . . .Ive already been here for 1.5 hours. . .

speaking of which, does anyone versed in the programming relm no how to code a 'from' date that runs on a time as opposed to a date using the Teradata calender function?

Had a good night last night, . . .I met Carolyn, Eric, and Jenn at Patriots (heh to see how those 'normal' people behave :P), Mike joined us with Pat (always good when he comes out of the greater Sterling area) and Ryan came later . . ., my favorite bartender wasnt there :( but good times as usual . . .

k fuck this. . .Im going to abuse my freedom and flexabile schedule and walk to Starbucks. . . hell with em, with the 400+ hours of PTO I have saved, hell, they're lucky Im even here :P
